Today we got to do a walking safari through the plains. The guides carry a rifle for safety, because out here we are the minority and this is the animal’s territory.

Baby elephants on parade!
These ‘lil guys live in a sanctuary and are being rehabilitated so they can be released into the wild. Most of the mothers were killed by poachers so they are kept safe here from lions and other predators until they are almost grown. Once they are released they then face the dangers of poachers as well ☹️
