Behind the scenes of “Here Now” 🤍
It feels so good to share moments from the making of, here—working on this song has offered me so much healing, in ways I couldn’t have predicted, including all of the silliness and fun we had on set. Looking into the darkness of one’s own shadow, you may surprise yourself with the light you’re bringing.
So grateful to every person who helped bring this vision to life and poured so much care into it alongside me.

Collecting little pieces of myself and turning them into songs🤍
“Here Now” is the last scene in the album film I’ve been living inside of for months. It’s where the main character finally stops running, stops searching for answers outside of themself, and just... arrives. We’re releasing the finale first, because the song itself speaks directly to the kind of personal transformation my story is grounded in. The place I was in when I wrote this, and the place I was in when filming/putting it into a complete narrative, and the place I am in, now, in finally sharing it—are all reflected, in it. Can’t wait to reveal the whole story to you all :)
The final scene will be released along with ‘Here Now’ on June 5th. And for all my locals, I’ll be doing a full screening of my full album-film in Santa Barbara at the Alcazar Theatre 🥳 So excited to share this with you guys!
