CBGVa is the precursor to the 'Varin Cannabinoids.' The conception of all cannabinoids in all cannabis types (THC, CBD, CBG) starts with a monoterpene named geranyl. This plant element combines with one of two acids to produce the stem cells of cannabinoids - CBGA and CBGVA - and those two birth the balance of the cannabinoids that people know of (THCa, THC, CBDa, CBD, CBC, CBG).

They also create many that most have never heard of as the focus of research stays on CBD now with the knowledge that THC has been historically the most studied cannabinoid as it was the first identified scientifically centuries ago.

Both CBGa and CBGVa are the precursor molecules to Cannabis Plants - but how are they made so they can make the balance of the cannabinoids?

Olivetolic acid combined with Geranyl pyrophosphate creates CBGA, known as the neutral analog acidic precursor (which means it establishes THCa, CBCa, and CBDa).

When Divarinic acid and geranyl pyrophosphate meet up in the plant, a whole different like of cannabinoids are created by this fascinating stem cell - CBGVA - known as the Varin acidic precursor (making THCVa, CBCVa, and CBDVa).

A few examples of cannabinoid acidic precursor pathways:
CBGA to THCA to THC
CBGA to CBCA to CBC
CBGA to CBDA to CBD
CBGA to CBG
CBGA to THCA to CBNA to CBN

The Varins:
CBGVA to THCVA toTHCV
CBGVA to CBCVA to CBCV
CBGVA to CBDVA to CBDV
CBGVA to CBGV

This is just one of the countless examples of how unique all types of cannabis are - it's a genuinely essential plant."

Dennis Peron, Prop 215 co-author arriving in San Francisco, home from the Vietnam war greeted by Harvey Milk. Peron went on to open the Island Restaurant in 1974, it had an upstairs apartment that was like a dispensary...

Recognizing the need for organized political support, Milk co-founded the Castro Village Association with Martha Asten, and organized the inaugural Castro Street Fair in 1974 to rally gay and allied business owners.

Asten was a pro photographer and a co-owner of the iconic neighborhood legacy shop Cliff's Variety. She famously dropped out of the neighborhood's straight-dominated Eureka Valley Merchants Association to join forces with Milk.

Together, they canvassed the neighborhood, signed up local businesses, and put out informational guides about the Castro’s rapidly emerging LGBTQ+ merchant community.

What does all of that have to do with Dennis Peron and Cannabis? Milk ran his campaign headquarters out of the same upstairs apartment for quite some time while he gained traction with the CVA with Asten.

This gave the politically active part of that group a voice, but soon it would have to do with AIDS. Milk would gain his spot in the Board of Supervisors, Peron in 1991 wrote Prop P, which passed in San Francisco and he opened The SF Buyers Club - the firs 'legal' (sorta) dispensary.

While we all enjoy our freedom to use legal medicinal cannabis, let's keep in mind that it was people fighting for their lives, and the crowd of caring nurses, doctors, and straight up hippies that joined that cause to save the life of people with AIDS.

Brownie Mary was already giving away brownies in the Oncology Ward, so this was destiny, it all started with that hug as Peron came home from Vietnam.

You don't have to be gay to understand it, and you don't have to use Cannabis to understand why it's a way of life either. You don't have to judge people, and most certainly those who have been judged the most over the past 18 months are part of a population that allowed Cannabis to be legalized.

Stuff that one in your pipe and smoke it, or nano it and ingest it!

The most offensive thing we have going on in the world of medicine, is the elephant in the room nobody will talk about. People wanna talk about schedule three when it comes to medicine and I’m still reminding them that irresponsibility involved in the opioid epidemic and I don’t quite trust them with a plant I love.
I’m sorry was I supposed to use a filter?
