Fish Reef project Mexico loads first of thousands of Sea Caves. Deployed in prime kelp growing regions of Central Baja, Mexico, “Tina Reef” named for Fish Reef Project’s founders late Mother, is the first large scale biogenic reef on the West Coast. Each Sea Cave® sustains up to 100 giant kelp plants and supports the nexus of thriving new and restored marine ecosystems.

This is what a true ocean health projects look like; benefiting nature and mankind alike. It took 12 years of intense work from the Fish Reef team to make this a reality and now it our time to scale and leave a legacy of lasting ocean health for hundreds of years to come.
