We are SO proud to share that our Pride Night screening of Jennifer's Body at raised $2,400 for the OC Pride Festival Teen Pride Space! 🌈🎬

Every ticket purchase and donation made this past Friday went directly toward creating the most incredible Teen Space yet, and it would not have been possible without YOU. Whether you joined us in the theater or donated online, THANK YOU for showing up for our q***r youth. They deserve the world, and you are helping us give it to them.

The Teen Pride Space organized by the will be waiting for q***r teens at the OC Pride Festival and Parade in Downtown Santa Ana on Saturday, October 10th, as we celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month and the weekend of National Coming Out Day. 🔥

Today, June 7th, marks 72 years since we lost Alan Turing.

He is the father of computer science. He cracked the N**i Enigma code during World War II, an act credited with shortening the war and saving millions of lives. The device you're reading this on exists in large part because of him.

And the British government chemically castrated him for being gay.

In 1952, after his relationship with a man was discovered, Turing was prosecuted under the UK's "gross indecency" laws. He was given a choice: prison or hormonal injections to suppress his sexuality. Two years later, he was found dead next to a half-eaten apple laced with cyanide. He was 41.

The country he saved refused to let him simply exist.
A posthumous pardon and a formal government apology came decades too late for a man who deserved to live free.

🎉 Exciting news, OC Pride family! Please join us in welcoming our newest board member, Sarah!

Sarah has been a cornerstone of our community for nearly 5 years as a volunteer, spending the last 3 as Stage Manager for both the Pride Stage and VIP section. Before joining us, she honed her craft stage managing drag shows at Velvet Lounge and productions at local community theatres.

On the board, Sarah will be diving into our Entertainment Department, working closely with all of our incredible community acts to help bring the most unforgettable Pride experience to life for everyone who walks through our gates. We are so lucky to have her! 🌈✨
