More than 100,000 veterans live in . To ensure that every veteran receives support to find a job, OC Community Services, the OC Workforce & Economic Development Division, and the OC Veterans Service Office run the Veterans’ Employment Program.

The program is designed to support veterans and their eligible dependents with personalized assessments, job counseling, prevocational services, career planning, employment readiness training and more. It was also recently recognized by the National Association of Counties for an achievement award under the Human Services category.
