I made sooo many mistakes here… so why do I post this video? As reminded us, we dance for OURSELVES. We don’t dance to compare ourselves to the person to our right or left. We are here to HAVE FUN and dance from our hearts. I most certainly had so much fun at this RRB workshop and, in fact, it was my first time getting in front of a camera at a workshop. Dance is about putting yourself in front of a mirror and making yourself uncomfortable to eventually become soooo comfortable with yourself and confident in your body.

At Heerey Dance Academy, we create a safe space where MISTAKES ARE ENCOURAGED! It’s more important for you to enjoy the dance routine than to perform it perfectly. We want our students to grow into confident dancers that dance like nobody’s watching. Students that dance for THEMSELVES ❤️
