After a failed attempt to win the auction for the Jerry Garcia “Tiger” guitar, an undeterred Larry “Ler” Lalonde set his sights on another legendary instrument. The long lost “Tigger” guitar, popularized by Gordo of Electric Apricot fame. The winning bid of $7.5 million was paid by Ler in a separate auction in El Sobrante, California.

When sought out and asked about the purchase, Gordo replied, “I traded that thing years ago for a bag of mushrooms and two Whippits”.

TIckets have been moving fast for the Primus UK & Europe 2026 tour this Summer. Manchester & Glasgow are sold out, Warsaw & London have been upgraded to larger venues to accommodate more tickets, and other shows have issued low ticket warnings.

Tickets for the new venues in Warsaw & London go on sale tomorrow at 10am local time.
