Today we had the pleasure of welcoming three members of the team from the Charlotte, North Carolina Wastewater Treatment Facility to Munday Scientific!

They stopped by to pick up two brand-new Accu-Scope EXC-360 phase contrast microscopes for their new facility while they were already making the trip to Cary to visit another vendor. Before they headed out, we were able to give them a hands-on demo and answer their questions so they'll be ready to hit the ground running.

Once their new facility opens, we'll be on-site to help with the final setup and make sure everything is performing exactly as it should.

A huge thank you to this outstanding team for making the trip. They were incredibly friendly, a lot of fun to spend time with, and we were honored they chose to visit our shop. We truly appreciate the opportunity to support the important work they do every day to keep our communities safe.

Thank you for trusting Munday Scientific—we can't wait to see your new laboratory in action!

🍣 Nope... that's not sushi! 😆

That's our badass histotech, Terri Munday, getting a Stage IV melanoma specimen ready to be processed, placed on a slide, and reviewed by a pathologist.

This is the kind of behind-the-scenes work that truly makes a difference. Every cut has to be precise because these slides help provide the information physicians need to make critical treatment decisions.

Terri—aka Mom, Wife, and Gaga—cuts some of the prettiest slides around, and we're proud to have her sharing her skills with all of you. 👏🔬

Histotechnology is an incredible profession that combines precision, patience, and purpose. Thanks to all the histotechs out there doing work that impacts lives every single day.

🎥 Polarized light never gets old! 🔬

Before this beautiful Nikon E600 Polarizing Microscope headed out to its new home, we couldn't resist putting a Tucsen Michrome 20 Full-Frame Camera on it to capture one last look.

The colors produced under polarized light are simply incredible. Vibrant, detailed, and full of contrast—it's the kind of image that reminds you why polarized microscopy is so fascinating. Photos and videos are beautiful, but seeing it in person is even more impressive.

The Michrome 20 captures every bit of that detail with stunning color accuracy and exceptional resolution, making it an outstanding choice for geology, mineralogy, materials science, and polarized light applications.

If you're looking to upgrade your microscope imaging setup or build a custom polarized light system, we'd be happy to help.
