If you haven’t made it out to the Sandy Amphitheater this season, now is the perfect time! With an amazing lineup of concerts, performances, and community events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

While you’re there, be sure to say hello to the Sandy Explorers. Our Explorers are proud to assist with many of the events throughout the season while gaining valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and community service.

At last week’s meeting, the Explorers spent time learning the importance of firearm safety rules and responsible handling while putting those skills to the test in a friendly airsoft competition.

The hands-on training gave the Explorers an opportunity to practice communication, decision making, teamwork, and safety awareness in a fun and controlled environment. A little competition may have been involved too.

Great job to everyone who participated and helped make the night both educational and entertaining.
