Before you spend another hour searching for the “perfect” mix voice exercise… ask yourself one question:

What problem are you actually trying to solve?

Most singers know they want a stronger mix, higher notes, or fewer cracks. But those are symptoms, not the root problem.

If you don’t know why your voice is doing what it’s doing, you’re just collecting random exercises and hoping one magically works.

The right exercise can make a huge difference. The wrong one just wastes your time.

👇 What’s the biggest challenge you’re trying to fix in your voice right now?

Don’t spend months (or longer) looking for the “magic exercise.”

The singers who improve the fastest usually aren’t the ones with the perfect vocal warm up. They’re the ones who keep showing up long enough for their voice to learn a brand new coordination.

Progress in singing usually looks a lot less exciting than social media makes it seem.

And that may mean investing in a singing teacher

If this feels like you, let’s work together

Have you ever wondered why two singers can sing the exact same song, and only one makes you feel something?

The more confident you become with your voice, the less your brain has to think about HOW you’re singing

And that’s when you finally have room to think about WHY you’re singing

Has a performance ever ever given you goosebumps?

Save this for later if you found it helpful.

Most singers assume tension only shows up when something hurts.

In reality, it usually sneaks in long before that.

The frustrating part? You can spend months trying new vocal exercises when the real problem isn’t your voice at all. It’s all the extra muscles trying to “help.”

One of the first things I do with new singers is figure out where the tension is coming from before we try to fix it.

Because the right exercise for jaw tension isn’t always the right exercise for tongue tension… and neither will help much if the real issue is somewhere else.

What tension have you noticed most when you sing?
