This year has been nuts, ups and downs!! ANGEL is a reflection of that, I think. My first attempt at something almost completely in house with my team. It’s imperfect, and has flaws, but I hope you all can understand the bigger picture. which is that I could release some stank ass Post Malone/Kid Laroi ripoff sounding s**t, and blow up in six months, or I can give you pure unadulterated experimentation, and lightning in song form. For me this track is about trauma, and I know i touch on that in some other songs, but this one really explores the depths of trauma, and how it infects every facet of your life. how it can erode you, how you can become consumed by it. I used to think it was healthy to be consumed by what you love to do, especially if it’s beneficial. It’s not. It’s very unhealthy. Don’t run from your problems, your trauma, any of that. It might not be time right now, but you can’t run from s**t like that forever. Anyways buy my merch, and stream my music!! Wear protection, love yourself, be with someone who is proud to be with you, don’t let anyone or anything hold you back, and be more stingy with your time. That s**t is way too valuable!! Love you ❤️
