I have a new fish and chips place you’ve gotta try in Sandy— it’s called Ty Fish and Chips. The owner is the brother and one of the Chopfuku Sushi founders, and was a sushi chef for 21 years.    Everything here is made from scratch, and all the food has a Japanese flair to it. The breading on all their fish is a little lighter, and they use their own Japanese hand cut technique—even the ceviche has a Japanese flavoring to it, and it’s super fresh.    We loved the crab balls, the seafood egg rolls, and of course, the Japanese hand cut fish. But, don’t miss out on the Japanese donuts, which have a mango and green tea pudding-type dip, and are the chef’s special recipe.
