Raise your hair if you refuse to touch a raw Turkey tomorrow! 🙋‍♀️
Speaking of Thanksgiving I just want to say I’m so grateful for you. The love and appreciation I’ve felt from my clients and followers has been unbelievable. Starting my own business this year was a scary leap and I definitely couldn’t have done it without you.
I hope you all have an amazing day with your family’s tomorrow! I love your guts! 💛

{ Breakup w/ Breakage }
If you live in a dry climate, chances are you have breakage. Here are my go to ways to keep your hair strong and healthy. Let’s refresh!
[1] Haircut! I know what your thinking, no way! But in order to stop breakage you have to get ahead of it. You may not have to lose as much length as you think!
[2] Oil is your new best friend. Kenra silkening oil is my go to to make sure my ends are staying moisturized every morning and night. If your hair is fine start with a small amount and see what your hair drinks up! (Mids to ends!)
[3] Silk pillow cases will change your life. If you can’t find one a silk head wrap will work too. Target Walmart and Sally’s all carry them.
[4] Claw clips. We’re throwing it back to our childhood and we are all becoming clip girls! Clips put way less tension on our fine front baby hairs. That are always the first to snap!
[5] limiting towel time. Do you wrap your hair in in a towel after the shower? Be careful! Towels are heavy on our fragile hair. And hair is more prone to breakage in a wet state.
Most of our breakage happens at night rolling around on your pillow. Or when your hair is pulled to tight. Try these out and tell me if you’ve noticed a difference!

*******Personal Post Ahead*******
My Instagram account was intended to be a mix between my personal and professional life. But I have definitely been slacking on the personal posts haha. So here’s a realistic personal post if you want to see more than just before and afters.
Having an invisible illness is definitely one for the books. I thought that once I found a doctor that listened to me, and got put on medication everything would go back to normal! But I swear I feel like I’m still fighting everyday to figure out how my body works now. What foods I should avoid? What amount of exercise won’t make me feel like cement tomorrow? How many days can I get bad sleep before getting sick? Why do my joints hurt today?
I went from exercising 2 times a day, working on my feet for ten hours in between , feeling the best I ever felt. To dragging myself out of bed just praying I could make it through the day. I think one of the hardest things for me is knowing that I may not ever get back to that point. No matter how clean I eat, how much time I spend at the gym, how much sleep I get. I may not ever feel %100 again.
I was in tears at the gym yesterday. Another day of looking in the mirror and feeling like my body doesn’t match my effort. Not being able to squat heavy because my hips ache. Not feeling like my body is mine. Feeling stuck.
It’s hard for me not to dwell on the things I wish I could change. To keep second guessing myself and questioning if I really am doing everything I can.
I had someone ask me, “What brings you peace?” In the moment my only answer was my sweet husband. But as I’ve pondered I have a new list of peace.
I find peace
-In phone calls with mom
-Lost in the pages of a good book
-In cuddles with Cam
-Taking walks by the canyon
-Helping my clients feel beautiful
-At the golf range (on a good day lol)
-On Sundays
-Watching my niece’s grow
-Picking Fresh flowers for the week
-Hitting a new PR at the gym
-Getting brunch on a day off
