If you bought a tree, please follow the instructions below for indoor care:

- Water the tree 2-4 days per week. Turn the pump on for 1-2 min each day, 2-4 days out of the week. You will need to keep an eye on the tree at the start. If you go too long the leaves will start to show by drooping or discoloring. At the same time, the soil needs to dry out between each watering. 2-4 days per week is about the sweet spot.

- Light is very important. Turn the light on 12 hours per day. In addition to the ring light, trees should be placed in a room with some natural sunlight (30 min sun minimum). The more the better.

- You should fertilize your tree once per month with indoor plant food (e.g. miracle grow, bonsai fertilizer, etc.) or but slow release pellets that can last up to 6 months.

- Trim branches as needed. This is the fun part. The tree is yours to shape and grow as you like! Don’t be afraid to give it a hair cut as appropriate.
