Happy Earth Day! Time to give thanks to our global home for supporting us, feeding us, keeping us grounded, and giving us day and night, sunshine, plants, rain, wind, oxygen, animals, insects, and everything in nature that we are part of.

Go outside today and take off your shoes and make contact with the soil. Imagine your feet growing roots and traveling down into the soil. Breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun on your face and hug a tree. Eat a piece of fruit or vegetable and remember the small seed it once was. Savor the flavor. Plant seeds or flowers, watch the birds and the bees as they go from flower to plant, or just lay down in the grass and look up at the clouds or stars and give gratitude to our mother Earth (Patchamama) for making our lives possible.
