The Vickery Creek Park trails are available to hikers of all levels and ages are invited to participate in this experience. We look to have a weekend hike and have a light snack after.

Schedule:
1. Morning Gathering (7:45 AM): Participants assemble at the Vickery Creek Park Welcome center
2. Scenic Trail Hike (8:00 AM -9:30 AM): Before lunch, the group embarks on a light hike. These trails provide stunning vistas of the Georgia countryside and a closer connection to the natural beauty of the area.
3. Picnic Snack (9:30 AM): Hikers break for a snack at a designated scenic spot. Participants can enjoy their packed meals while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

Rain or Shine!!
– The event is open to hikers of all experience levels, but participants should be prepared for a half day of walking and some moderately challenging terrain.
– Comfortable hiking attire, sturdy footwear, sun protection, and plenty of water are strongly recommended.
– Participants are encouraged to bring their own picnic lunches
– The event is free of charge and all we encourage is to bring a friend and some food!
