Join us tomorrow evening to discuss this 2025 thriller! The book follows Sydney Singleton, a former journalist who investigates the 1960s disappearance of her aunt, one of six Black girls who vanished in North Carolina. While undergoing IVF, Sydney uncovers long-buried family secrets and confronts her own past trauma.

There will be no curbside snack from Wednesday, June 10 through Friday, June 12. We hope to resume our regular snack schedule on Monday, June 15.

We are only days away from our RAWR-SOME Summer Reading Club Kickoff Party this Saturday, June 13th from 10am to Noon on the south lawn of the Erie County Courthouse/adjacent to Adams Street/north of the Sandusky Library.

Sign-ups will take place at the kickoff so dino-readers of all ages can register to read and win prizes throughout the summer. Registering for the summer reading club is also required to access the festivities which can be done at the kickoff party, in-person inside the library, or online at sanduskylib.org.

The event is open to everyone; activities are free and does not require a Sandusky Library card. Food trucks will be on hand with food for purchase. Check out our event map for all of the exciting activities that will be a part of festivities.
