This past weekend at Summit Motorsports Park I managed to get down to the Quarterfinals (final 8 cars) leaving off the button. Was killing the tree all day but didn’t catch the drop of my opponent 5th round. Lesson learned. Next weekend will be at Dragway 42 for the No Box Hootenanny.

Thursday Night’s Poorman Gamblers Race
- 18 thousandths package against me 2nd round

Friday Double Enrty
- A red first round AND buy back
- B Revenge against the 18 pack the night before: .008 to his .000 I rip a few to be above the dial and taking the stripe. But a 3rd round exit on a double breakout.

Saturday Double Entry
- A red first round, bought back and was spanked BAD!
- B 3rd round exit when I messed up on the top end and ripped it a time to many and let him back by .002 at the top end.

Sunday Double Entry
- A&B both made it through first round but lost them both 2nd round.

Overall for the first weekend of real racing I’ve done in a long time I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Have a few things to look forward to that should help out on a few of those rounds. Seat time was needed and definitely encouraged by the top end side of driving that was done. All in all made 19 trips down the track with 16 of those elimination rounds. So did a lot of 🦆ing around and found a lot out!
