“Ego To The Death”

To think he thought he knew her at all,
When he couldn’t see the goal through ego filled walls.

He could have been him, while she was she,
Together they’d build something powerful, to set them both free.

But he chose the road more traveled, same patterns, same strife.
He avoided and chose what he’s known all of his life.

“She’s killing her ego again!” they shout from the hill,
She got her checkmate, “hurry turn on the free will!”

“What will she choose this time?!” they all gasped in awe.
Man we knew she was good… she’s in her own league after all.

She’s choosing herself and she’s going all in.
Better start placing those bets before it’s too high to buy in…

A life made of travel, to remind her no one holds a secret key,
A life made of beauty, she’s the beholder don’t ya see,
A life with real food, made with love and aimed to please
A life with truthful eyes, that show substance and soul beneath

She will someday look back and see all her past lives,
Thanking the stars she let each one go and chose her own dope vibes.
A life that’s aware of both evil and good,
Knowing they are rarely if ever fully, understood.

The subconscious frame of mind, adhere to patterns that align.
To hold true what was built, in the frail childhood paradigm.
Stepping into the conscious, is to let your ego go.
To become aware of so much, and still how little you know.

A shift from the pattern one step at a time,
A shift to a more conscious path, one chosen, not blind.

He thought he could tame her, she thought they could both run free.
It’s a tale she knew well, knowing he’d never see.

The only way is through, a door forward in her mind.
It’s time to shift out of this pattern, align to her new paradigm.
