Blast Off Blaise

UPDATE

We are in OKC for Blaise’s MRI. He will have a full brain and spine scan to see how things look post-radiation and chemo. It will take about 1½ hours because they were able to get him in on the newer, fancier, faster machine. His blood counts are slowly improving, but they’re still holding off on his daily chemo until they improve a little more.

We will back in OKC on Monday to have a follow-up appointment regarding the MRI results with Dr. McNall at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health(we’re not fans of long waits for scan results) and he’ll get his next infusion of Avastin. Then we’ll be back in OKC again on Wednesday to meet with Dr. Chang and his proton radiation team at Oklahoma Proton Center.

These scan days (and the days leading up to them) can be mentally and physically exhausting as we fight scanxiety and travel back and forth. Thank you for standing with us!! We believe he is HEALED and will live a LONG LIFE on the Earth. The good work God started in Blaise He will finish!!!
