Mike is a longtime leader in hospitality and investment, best known for serving as President and CEO of Kimpton Hotels, where he helped grow the company into the world’s largest boutique hotel brand before its sale to IHG in 2015. Today he is a Founding Partner of KHP Capital Partners, investing in hospitality real estate and helping shape the future of the industry.

Within the Hoffman community, Mike is also the informal leader of QFish — an annual fishing trip of Hoffman graduates that has gathered for more than two decades. Among its longtime participants was Hoffman founder Raz Ingrasci, alongside a close circle of Process alumni who return each year to reconnect and continue the work.

Mike attended the Hoffman Process in 2005. In this conversation, he reflects on leadership, self-discovery, and his simple advice: figure out who you are — and fully step into it.
