🇮🇹🍝 June's spotlight country is Italy, and so the group kicked things off the right way at AlmaVia of San Rafael—with a lunch outing to a delicious local Italian café! Buon appetito! 🍷

Residents indulged in some mouthwatering pasta, sipped some delicious wine, and enjoyed wonderful conversation around the table.

✋💐 Bridgehaven memory care neighborhood residents recently made the most adorable hand bouquets. They traced their own hands, carefully cut them out, and crafted them into artsy little vessels to hold some beautiful greenery. Some residents gave their bouquets as gifts, while others proudly displayed them on the community billboard.

Tracing, cutting, and assembling keep hands nimble and minds engaged, while the creative choices help spark self-expression and imagination. Handmade, heartfelt, and beautiful!

🧁 Baking Club was in session as residents of the Bridgehaven memory care neighborhood whipped up some delicious cupcakes together. From measuring and mixing to frosting and taste-testing (the most important step, obviously), everyone pitched in to create these sweet treats.

Baking together offers so many wonderful benefits for older adults. It encourages teamwork, engages the senses, and brings back fond memories of time spent in the kitchen over the years.
