🌿 Pasha’s San Francisco Bay Area Employee Community Action Team joined together for a scenic volunteer day at Slide Ranch, supporting one of the Bay Area’s most unique coastal education and environmental programs.

Our team helped with projects across the ranch, supporting Slide Ranch’s mission of connecting youth and people of all ages with nature, farming, and environmental stewardship through hands-on learning experiences along the Marin coastline. 🌊🐐

Pasha Hawaii and Hawaii Stevedores’ Employee Community Action Team, Hui Hulilima (“Helping Hands”), joined alongside ILWU Local 142 Hawaii, bringing the largest team to the ‘Construction Hike for Hope’ Su***de Prevention Hike. This event brings the construction and maritime community together to raise awareness around mental health and su***de prevention.

The 4.8-mile hike took place along the ‘Aiea Loop Trail at Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area, with a 900-foot elevation gain. The trail runs along the ridge on the west side of Halawa Valley, offering views of Oahu’s southern coastline from Pearl Harbor and the Waiʻanae Range to Honolulu and Diamond Head. Much of the area was replanted by foresters in the 1920s and features native koa and ʻōhiʻa trees, along with remnants of a B-24 bomber that crashed in 1944.
