The Wood Bison - Athabacae (in science terms) a large scale painting of a mighty beast - tipping the scale of vulnerability - along with a high number of other animals we share this spinning ball of planet with. It’s one of many a piece of my ongoing collective works titled “Kindred Kingdom” - where I focused on the rare and threatened species - I painted them larger than life purposefully and they were all airbrushed painted with oil paint for the longevity (something many creatures don’t have) - so it become a magnificent and fragile thing … if Bay Area bound you can see it in person in downtown San Rafael @ The C. Grace Gallery on 4th st (between Cst. And Dst. ) along with glazedandconfused pottery studio. I’ll be posting some goodies soon so keep liking :) sharing :) and if you fancy … go visit. Available to purchase and prints available on request (sizes vary)

Work in progress. caves, canyons and sea stacks - landscape work is something I’m still in a journey with. I keep finding myself drawn to the rocks, the cavern and caves - the lonely sea stacks that stand as sole rock guards against the tides and constant tear from the seas and oceans - something special them all. - soon enough the technique will find itself the right course to take :)

With busy days and mindful nights. My head keeps turning to rocks. Rocks. Canyons. Headlands. Sea Stacks. Caves. They all rock. Calming to observe and forever curious to wonder about. I have found myself drawing so many lately.
