So happy that Blue is doing amazing after seeing Dermatology at GGVETS. Dr. Eckholm was able to get Blue's Pemphigus Foliaceous under control, and she's living her best life!

It's foxtail season! This dog's ear canal had several foxtails just about to puncture the eardrum. Luckily, the video otoscope with microforceps allowed for quick and safe removal.

Here are a few foxtail tips:
1)Make sure you are always checking your pets thoroughly for foxtails after any outdoor excursions. The ears, paws (webbing between toes, skin between pads), mouth, and nose are common sites.
2) Avoid overgrown trails and always keep your dog on leash.
3) Consider protective gear like booties or a foxtail mask.
