š³ļøāš Happy Pride Month š³ļøāš
As Pride begins, Iām proud to share that my book, Coming Out Together -Ā Memoirs on the LGBTQ+ Experience, is still available! This collection means more than ever right now as we face a rising wave of legislation and rhetoric that seeks to silence, erase, or roll back the rights of LGBTQ+ people, the stories in this book stand as both resistance and refuge.
These are real voicesāraw, joyful, defiant, and deeply human. They remind us that Pride isnāt just a celebrationāitās a protest, a remembrance, and a promise. I hope this book offers strength, connection, and truth to anyone who needs it.
Individuals can purchase the book by venmo and PM me your address, or for any and all bookstores/specialty shops/libraries you can let them knowĀ it is available for distributionĀ via IngramSpark (where they can order it from to carry on their shelves).
Thank you for supporting q***r stories, being an ally, and for continuing to stand with us. Whether thatās at the voting booth, by speaking up to your representatives, or calling out anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric when you hear itā all of our combined voices matter.Ā

Whoās Ready to Get in Some Good Trouble with Me? š
Anti-LGBTQ+ laws and policies are sweeping through states and school districts, silencing voices and erasing our stories. With new threats to LGBTQ+ protections, including the signing of executive orders yesterday that will roll back protections for transgender individuals and eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion programs- Iām deeply worried for my trans friends, my own marriage, and our community as a whole. Itās hard to not feel helpless with what is happening.
In response, Iām going to send copies of my book, Coming Out Together: Memoirs on the LGBTQ+ Experience, to states and school districts Iāve researched that are most enacting these harmful laws.
These stories of love and resilience and coming to terms with oneās true self deserve to be heard, and I plan to also then alert local media in these areas about the voices being silenced (in the hopes of coverage and shining a light to continue making sure these stories and voices are heard). Please feel free to let me know of any particular area/school district you think could also benefit from the reading of these heartfelt stories- maybe even causing some needed empathy.
This isnāt just about sending a bookāitās about standing up for our community, showing we wonāt be erased, and fighting back with the power of our stories. Also, in the spirit of helplessness, I just feel like I need to do something/whatever I can (but really at a loss for anything else right now). If you believe in amplifying marginalized voices and standing against hate and misunderstanding, letās get in some good trouble together.
Feel free to PM me or email: [email protected].

Stumbled across my old notes (as I decided to go do some writing yesterday) from the process of gathering quotes for my book āComing Out Together - Memoirs on the LGBTQ+ Experience.ā It was actually a pretty crazy process that involved lots oā reading, finding ones that really resonated, getting permissions, and then figuring out exactly where each one fit best. But seeing them in the book after it was printed was pretty darn cool, and also reminded me of just how important it is to keep making sure these voices/stories are shared.
Which quote is your fav?

Added pic/videos of giving me permission to use the lyrics of āBraveā in the book for good measure, and also cause it was so fān cool š¤š
