Who remembers Snickerdoodle! She is doing great after her medical scare! She is such a silly girl and deeply loved by Karen.
It's play time! 6 weeks old!
We are currently accepting and vetting all applications for the puppies. They will be placed into their new homes at 10 weeks old.
Do you live in Northern California/Tahoe areas? Do you have another dog? Are you ready to devote the time and energy to training a wild puppy, aka Velociraptor? Remember, this is a 12-14 year commitment. The puppies are not pure-bred Samoyeds. They are Golden Sams with a pinch of husky. With proper training and love they will be wonderful family members. So get ready now!
If you have already applied, no need to do it again. But if not, please go to: https://www.sfsr.org/pre-adoption-form and tell us a bit about yourself and family. You will be then contacted for a home check and interview if your application fits.

We have our DNA results and now it’s time to guess “Who’s your daddy?”
We did a little photoshoot with the puppies today! They’re 4 weeks old 🥹
Mom is Chardonnay, found as a pregnant stray, listed as a Samoyed (last picture here). We don’t know who the dad is. Looking at the puppies, what breeds do you think they are?
ONE HINT: They’re a mix of 3 breeds!
RULES: Whoever can guess all 3 breeds correctly wins an SFSR baseball cap! Post your responses in the comments. One guess per person!
If we have a tie of more than one person guessing the right breeds, we’ll ask those folks to guess percentages!
