Join us for our Walk-Up Low-Cost Microchip Clinic on Saturday, July 18, and give your pet a permanent form of identification that can help reunite them with you if they ever become lost.

No appointment is needed, just stop by during clinic hours! Preventative care is one of the best ways to keep your pets healthy, safe, and by your side.

Join us Saturday, July 18 for PALS’ Monthly Pet Food Pantry 🐾

No pet should ever go hungry.

Our monthly Pet Food Pantry provides free dog and cat food to families in our community who may need a little extra support. Pet food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

This program is only possible because of the incredible support of our community partners. Thank you to La Cima, H-E-B, the San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club, the Hays County Health Department, and Pet Supplies Plus for helping us keep pets fed and families together. ❤️

🛑‼️TRAP CALL! If you have a PALS trap and are not signed up for our 7/13 TNR clinic please return it ASAP before Friday to the PALS clinic at 8401 Ranch Rd 12 in San Marcos! We can only help others when the traps are returned! You can borrow traps again after 7/13

While fireworks are exciting for people, they can be frightening for our furry family members. In fact, more pets go missing around the Fourth of July than almost any other time of the year. 🎇

Here are a few ways to help keep your pets safe today:
🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks.
🏷️ Make sure collars and ID tags are secure and up to date.
📱 Verify that your pet’s microchip registration has your current phone number and address.
🧸 Create a quiet, comfortable space with their favorite toys, treats, or calming music.
🚪 Keep doors and gates closed, and remind guests to watch for pets when coming and going.

If your pet isn’t microchipped yet, PALS offers affordable microchipping at our community clinics to help give lost pets the best chance of finding their way home. 🦮
