First Generation Student Organization

Hey guys! Just wanted to write a quick post reminding y'all that we do meet every other Monday at 5! It makes us extremely happy when members decide to join us,and if you want updates on what we do, sign up to receive our emails! Ultimately we're here to serve and help YOU. We are all in the same boat, we've just been on it a little longer and we are here to help you navigate it. You can't be a captain without a crew. We want to be YOUR support system away from home, we want to be YOUR crew.
Also, I just wanted to point out that through this program we do many amazing things. This week, I, your VP, and one of our advisors, Toni Moreno, are in Austin, listening to other latinos whose programs are more advanced, on how we can serve you guys better!
Lastly, I know we are First Generation Student Organization, but we are here for second and third generations as well as inclusive of all races and ethnicities, not just Latino. With that, I hope that you guys feel more comfortable and start coming to our meetings. If the day and time is an issue, let us know! We will try our hardest to get you guys with us!
Remember, we may be the first but we're not the last. We are the INSPIRATION for our siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews to follow. We are the PRIDE of our parents and grandparents who see a better future in us. We are all our loved ones hope we'd be, so let's work together to be that example and live up to the hype.
