The process of multiplying disciples and simple churches is NON-SEQUENTIAL. Many people consider the process of multiplying disciples as a series of sequential steps. 


We intentionally shop at the grocery store Sam works and build up a friendship. He is now our Arabic teacher. We read 1 Corinthians 13 together, and he is open to learning more. Yes, you can be developing leadership from the moment you begin interacting with an unbeliever who is going to be converted. Please pray for Sam to understand the truth of his condition without Christ and to understand what Christ has done for his salvation.


In DMM, we are pursuing simultaneous rather than sequential church planting qualities: One process. Vision casting, pre-evangelism, evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and gospel movement cultivation can all happen at the same time during the same process if we focus our energy and time on putting into practice the disciple-making best practices. All of the seven fields can happen at the same time when birthed and bathed in prayer. Discipleship multiplication DNA is built into the pre-evangelism process so that you’re viewing everyone as a potential trainer of trainers. The resources are in the harvest field! Let’s not forget that the laborers we are praying for are most likely already in the harvest fields waiting to be told the gospel and trained to be trainers.
