It’s been a long time since I’ve posted any of my design projects. I want to share a particularly bitter-sweet one I have been working on for several months for my 89 year old mom. Her care needs have made it necessary to move from her 1600 sq.ft. home in Rossmoor to a single room in a board & care home. Helping her sort and choose what was most important of all her belongings is an arduous task that took many weeks. Then finding the right furniture that would fit in such a limited space, with her mobility issues (wheelchair bound) and clearances was a challenge.
But now she is finally all moved in and settled, surrounded by her favorite belongings and much of her own artwork, and it feels just like “her” home. As they say, “home is where the ♥️ is” and she is there.

We’ve come a long way in kitchen design, but I have to say I admire the simplicity and ingenuity of this cooking station!

In Delos, 2500 years ago, there was a kitchen with 3 burners, oven, grill and baking plate. With an extremely impressive design, made of clay, it served the needs of the household like the electric stove today.👉🏛 Archaeological Museum of Delos!!

It's been a while since I've posted any projects. I've been busy, like most others are in the remodeling industry, and haven't take the time to post. But I hope to catch up a bit, and since I just toured my client's latest bathroom I thought I'd share the outcome with you. It's always a joy to get to work for repeat clients, the level of comfort and trust with them shows, and the second project becomes that much better for it. The show stopper in this bathroom is the random patterened octagonal floor, it transformed their outdated clunky Master Bathroom into a beautiful tropical en suite.
