Quick rundown on what we did to this Lexus RC SUV, we prepped the whole vehicle with a Decon IronX clay treatment for a smooth finish then followed by a 1 year express ceramic coating. Yes you can lay down ceramic coating with no polish but prep is the key. When applying just a stand alone ceramic you will get the full benefits from its protection. Ceramic coating will not remove any swirls or defect but will add some gloss to your paint. So those who were asking yes it’s possible but be aware it’s not going to remove swirls.
