Notes on living in Pasadena so far:

People here seem genuinely super friendly. (Everyone smiles and says hi/good morning)

There are bears??? They come down from the mountains in our area and eat trash

Also- the parrots?? They’re so cool and green but their screech is not fun sounding lol

We can walk everywhere and I feel like we live in Europe when we walk a couple blocks to coffee or dinner

Not mad about the weather here

There are so many trees

Really love how much easier the drive is to Santa Barbara considering how many weddings/elopements I have there this year

Our house and yard are huge and I can’t figure out what to do with all the space after living in 800 square feet with no yard

LA seems to attract really creative people which makes me really happy

So many people work in the entertainment industry. Normal conversations go like: “where do you work?” “Oh I work as a videographer on the set of love is blind!”

Side note: saw these two recently (❤️) and wanted to throw back to this set from their engagement on 35mm film

Because carousels are back apparently 🕺J+D you guys are too cool for me. Flash photography during blue hour 🤌
