Tip for Grading Students:
Since a case class is about applying knowledge to problems, try to avoid grading students solely by whether they hit a specific answer. Instead, when determining a student’s grade consider how they used judgment based on the concepts of the course to arrive at their conclusions.

Something to consider attending if you have the time!
Have you ever been part of a group learning experience and thought that it was very frustrating?
This can happen for a variety of reasons that could come from how the group was structured, how group members behaved, or how the group’s progress towards its goal was monitored. When cooperative learning is well-designed it minimizes opportunities for students and instructors to experience these types of frustrations.
Join this interactive workshop to explore best practices that will enhance your students’ experiences as they learn cooperatively in groups.
