Part 2 of Go Learn’s Yorkshire: On Location with PBS is here, and the journey only got dreamier from here. 🇬🇧✨

Day 4 took the group to York, the unofficial capital of Yorkshire and a city full of medieval charm, history, and a few sweet surprises. 🍫 After arriving by train, travelers set out on a walking tour through the old city, with stops near the ruins of the Abbey of St. Mary, the Bishops House, and the incredible York Minster, which often stands in for Westminster Abbey on screen. Afterward, everyone had time to wander, grab lunch, and explore York at their own pace. 🏰🚶‍♀️

Day 5 was all about the Brontë sisters, the Yorkshire moors, and a little literary magic. 📚🌿 The group traveled to Haworth, rode a historic steam train through the countryside, and visited the Brontë family home and gardens. From Jane Eyre to Wuthering Heights, this was a chance to step into the landscape that inspired some of literature’s most unforgettable stories. The day ended with a walk across the mysterious moors before returning to Harrogate for dinner. 🚂🌫️

On Day 6, the group said goodbye to Harrogate and headed to Newby Hall, a stunning 17th-century country home and filming location for Victoria, Gentleman Jack, and Peaky Blinders. After a private tour and time to explore the grounds, the journey continued to Thirsk for a visit to The World of James Herriot, where travelers explored the real home and surgery behind All Creatures Great and Small. 🐾🏡
