Grounds Cleaner

Looking for a motivated Part Time Grounds/Cleaner for our Provo apartment community. The qualified candidate should have strong attention to detail and be a self motivator.
General Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

Clean-up of litter throughout property

Using a leaf blower, broom, shovel, rake or snow blower to clean parking lots, landscaping, hallways and breezeways

Some landscaping improvements and upkeep.

Cleaning building hallways as needed

Various painting projects including handrails, staircases, interior and exterior walls etc.

Spreading salt on sidewalks, stairs and driveways

Recognizing trip hazards and other hazards throughout property and reporting them to the onsite manager.

Completes all work according to OSHA Standards and complies with company safety policies at all times.

Cleaning and upkeep of office and clubhouse

Helping maintenance and office staff as needed.

Qualifications Needed:

The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance repair work or construction.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
Ability to relate to vendors, staff and public in a courteous manner.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 25 to 50 pounds.
Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
