Shop Less Waste

I've been practicing watercolor more and more lately! I thought I'd share some of my paintings from Watercolor in Nature by Rosalie Haizlett Illustration as well as a couple of my own creations inspired by the techniques I learned from the book!

I'm stoked with how my "Arched Brow" mask turned out for the Utah Arts Festival masquerade fundraiser. I made this mask from recycled paper and wheat paste, and it's painted with acrylics! It will be available on their website until the end of today, and if it doesn't sell by then, it will be up for auction at The Masquerade Party!

I created Shop Less Waste in 2021 to combine my passions for art and environmental conservation into an earth-friendly shop! All of my pieces are made from thrifted, gifted, and recycled materials. Watercolor and paper making are my primary media, but you can also expect to see embroidery, knitting, crocheting, sculpting, and acrylic painting. My art often depicts natural scenes, taking inspiration from our beautiful planet that I hope to lessen my negative impact on.
