The number one piece of advice that I give to filmmakers is to have a killer demo reel. I've been making over 6 figures in my production company for over 4 years in a row and I attribute most of that success to having a demo reel. A little BTS from my latest YouTube video showing how to get a shot like this 🎥 tip number 1, make sure your glidecam is balanced perfectly. In this shot my glidecam had a 4 second drop time so that I could tilt it up and down a little easier. Tip number 2, film at 60fps to allow you to slow down and speed up. And tip number 3, use time remapping in Premiere Pro to speed ramp your footage. During the fast part, I sped it up by 4,000% and then eased it back down with a ramp so it didn’t stop so abruptly.
