Closing tomorrow! See 𝘈𝘴 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘈𝘳𝘦, our last exhibition of the year, during special gallery hours on 𝗙𝗿𝗶., 𝗡𝗼𝘃. 𝟭𝟳, 𝟰-𝟴𝗽𝗺.

The show features colorful, figurative paintings, drawings, and monotypes by . In the monotype prints pictured here, Sproul works through shorter ideas, like a form of note-taking. There is an immediacy to them, as they represent the aspect of self that comes quickly and contain elements of impulse.

Sproul describes his painting process as “slow and meditative.” One piece can take many months to complete as he works to unwrap deeper, more expansive narratives and emotions.
