Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time yesterday to collect signatures across Salisbury to save collective bargaining for our city workers and first responders.

Because of your hard work, we are one step closer to letting the people, not politicians decide the future of collective bargaining in our city.

When it comes to a record of service and delivering results for Marylanders, few can match Brooke Lierman. As the first woman independently elected to one of Maryland’s constitutional offices, she has transformed the Comptroller’s Office into one that is more transparent, accessible, and focused on working families.

From the Board of Public Works, Brooke has fought for critical investments across the Eastern Shore. She has modernized Maryland’s tax system through Maryland Tax Connect, established the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate to help residents resolve tax issues, and expanded the Earned Income Tax Credit through the “Earned It” campaign.

Congratulations to Dan Schwartz for Congress on winning the Democratic Primary for Maryland’s First Congressional District!

A consumer watchdog and public servant, Dan has spent more than 14 years protecting working families from financial fraud and abuse while holding powerful institutions accountable.
