Did you know that Rowan County 4-H offers a school enrichment program for our local teachers during the school year? We focus on offering a 4-H Embryology Project for 2nd & 7th grade teachers and a 4-H Butterfly Project for Kindergarten teachers. All are offered to Rowan-Salisbury School teachers plus the private, charter & home schools in the county. The 4-H school enrichment program enables teachers to supplement their instruction with a low cost, high impact hands-on learning experience that aligns with their curriculum.

In Spring 2026:
-The 4-H Embryology Project had 38 classrooms participating. We reached over 850 youth participants as they explored STEM as they learned about life cycles and agriculture.
-The 4-H Butterfly Project had 54 classrooms participating, reaching over 1,080 youth participants as they studied life cycles and nature.
