Categories are American Revolution, Real American Heroes, Great Moments in United States History, American Music, and a U.S.A. Grab Bag! Did you know that the Declaration of Independence only had one signature on July 4th? July 2nd the Continental Congress voted to legally separate from England, July 4th the wording of the Declaration of Independence was formally adopted, the First Signatures were signed on August 2nd, 1776. The final signatures were done in January 1777. Now you know!
