Meet Dr. Mary-Kathryn Brazil, the heart behind Brazil Family Chiropractic Inc. 

A proud Salinas native and former collegiate volleyball player, Dr. Brazil’s journey to become chiropractor began after a career-ending back injury. What started as a setback became her purpose—helping others heal, move better, and stay injury-free.

With a degree in Kinesiology from CSU Stanislaus and a Doctorate from Palmer West Chiropractic College, Dr. Brazil began her career working with athletes to optimize performance and prevent injuries.

Everything changed when she became a mother. Her passion shifted to prenatal and pediatric care, and she’s since earned certifications in the Webster Technique and advanced training in pediatric chiropractic. From supporting mothers through pregnancy to helping toddlers hit their milestones and beyond—Dr. Brazil is here for your whole family.

Whether you’re an expecting mom, a weekend warrior, or simply looking for natural, effective care—you’re in good hands at Brazil Family Chiropractic.

We are thrilled to present Dr. Elizabeth Sanchez Nuñez

Chiropractic Physician | pediatric & Family |
Wellness Specialist

Originally from Mexico City, Dr. Sanchez moved to the U.S. at the age of 16 and brings with her a deep passion for healing, family wellness, and pediatric care. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from La Sierra University and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Since 2016, she has been providing chiropractic care to families in the Salinas community, offering services in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Sanchez is extensively trained and certified in a range of gentle, specialized techniques including:

• International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) trained
• PX Certified (neurology-based pediatric chiropractic)
• Webster Technique (pregnancy care)
• Mercier Therapy certified
• Trained in tongue tie and oral restriction-focused chiropractic
• Tonal, non-force chiropractic
techniques
• Craniosacral Therapy (currently completing certification)

Dr. Sanchez works with a wide range of patients, including infants with birth trauma, oral ties, and cranial distortions; neurodivergent children; adults with chronic migraines and headaches; and individuals seeking regular chiropractic care. Her goal is to help every patient—from newborns to adults—thrive with a healthy and balanced nervous system.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Sanchez loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their adventurous 2-year-old son. She enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring nature. She also has a deep love for cooking, traveling, reading, and continuing her education to better serve her patients.

We’re delighted to have Dr. Sanchez as part of our team—her warmth, expertise, and dedication are a true gift to our practice and community. 😊
