Service Area: Pajaro, Castroville, Royal Oaks, Salinas, Monterey, Carmel Valley, Marina, Seaside, Prunedale, Aromas, Soledad, King City, and as far south as the San Luis Obispo County border.
Privacy Statement: The purpose of collecting the information is to assist with decision-making in the future. However, to respect the lives of those impacted by homelessness, most data will be offered to the public in an aggregate form once enough data is collected.
PLEASE NOTE: Notifying CHE of a person experiencing homelessness does not necessarily mean that CHE can immediately house someone. Due to the lack of available shelter beds and transitional or permanent supportive housing, combined with the process of establishing rapport, instantaneous visible results of resolving homelessness is unlikely. When working on complex issues and personalizing service provision, time and patience are required. Even so, we encourage community participation in assisting us in identifying people in need.
