“Today, after reviewing 340,000 pages and a record amount of data, the FDA has given full approval to the Pfizer vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19. This is huge & comes with many public health implications.

The FDA’s Biologics License Application process is thorough and arduous. Many criticized the FDA for taking too long to go through the motions of this approval, but it is now deemed that the vaccines are truly safe and effective.

The vaccine is still under EUA for ages
