I want you to hold the puppies that were born in that shelter because their pregnant mom got dumped. Then come back and tell me we need MORE dogs. We don't have a dog shortage. We have a human decency shortage. Your dog doesn't need to pass on his genes. The world needs fewer breeders and more people who adopt.
