Without Strings - Bridging the Community

As the needs have changed within our community, Without Strings has had to reflect and evaluate our current services. With the significant increase in healthcare accessibility and with Affordable Healthcare insurance program, we have determined that our clinics were being under-utilized by community members with low/no income over the past year. After five very successful years, we have decided that Without Strings is no longer needed in its original capacity. Our Board of Directors have thought long and hard, and have decided that we will dissolve the organization since we have completed our mission; we bridged our community during the challenging years.

We want to thank everyone for your support, time, and energy in making Without Strings the most successful organization. We have been grateful to have had over 400 volunteers for our clinics. That spirit and community engagement is what made us so successful. Many other organizations in our community could use your help, please look around find a place to continue to give back to your community. Without Strings is deeply grateful to have been able to serve our community proudly.

Thank you to all for helping us sponsor our annual dental clinic. Without Strings rents the dental vans and OHSU Dental School and Faculty provide extractions and restorative care to our community members in need. We can only do this with your support through donations of time, food, supplies and money as well as your commitment to serving our community. THANK YOU

Without Strings is a federally recognized 501(3)c non profit. All donations are tax exempt. We are looking to fund the upcoming dental clinic this summer, please let us know if you are interested in helping us bring back the dental vans again this year.

Without Strings - Salem, Oregon - December 14th did our first outdoor vaccination clinic under the Marion Street Bridge to provide inlfuenza, pneumonia, tetanus, Hepatitis, and HPV to our most vulnerable community members. We screened 61 people that did not have homes and gave out 48 shots.
