Pop's Bench

If you knew my father, then you likely knew of his love for the American Bald Eagle. He wore shirts that had eagles on them, he collected eagle plates, statues, etc... if it had an eagle on it, he wanted it!

Well, this Memorial Day weekend, my father (who is a veteran) received the most amazing gift from a couple of very special folks (Ben and Sandra) from the World Bird Sanctuary. After performing their Birds of Pray program at Montauk State Park, they took a few minutes to bring Patriot (an American Bald Eagle) over to Pop's Bench so we could take a couple of pictures!
