Do you know someone with the right skill set to help lead this team?

We are planning a work trip this August 15-23 to put a new roof on the Junea church of the Nazarene. The church has purchased the materials for the roofing but needs a team to remove the old roof and put a new one on. The only cost for participants would be $200 which would cover meals for the week, plus transportation to get to Juneau. We have several people interested in serving but need someone with roofing experience that could lead the team. Urgent prayer update from the Ponders:

They are going to start warming Brais back up today at 1pm. Pray that he stays stable as they take away some interventions slowly.

NMI Friends please pray for missionaries Hannah and Ben Ponder and their baby Brais. The Ponders were recently with us on deputation.

Pray for baby Brais.

This morning Hannah gave birth to our son Brais David Ponder (pronounced like Brice). He did not breathe in his first 2 minutes because of infection/green fluid in his lungs after a long, hard labor that ended in an unwanted Caesarean section.

Brais was able to get air in his lungs and breathe with help and was taken to a intensive care wing of a hospital for babies here in Belgrade. He is currently on a ventilator and we are asking for your help in prayer for his life.

Pray for healing in the name of Jesus. For Brais to be able to start breathing on his own in these crucial hours. For his lungs to heal and for any damage done by lack of oxygen to be overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you

Below is the update from Hannah today:
Hannah and Baby Brais are at separate hospitals. Hannah will be released tomorrow and can go visit Brais.

Brais is currently in a 72-hour cooling therapy. His body temp is kept low in order to help his organs repair and hopefully restore some damage to his organs. On Wednesday morning (Serbian time) they will begin the rearming process. While in this cooling state he is sedated and still on a ventilator.

Wednesday will bring about crucial information as they monitor brain activity with EEGs and EKGs.

Please continue to pray for divine healing for baby Brais and for strength and peace only God can provide.
